The Annual Online Survey For Physicians Begins
An online survey, US News Physician Survey, has begun which would ask for the opinions of experts on the high quality of service and referral care provided by hospitals. Invitations were sent to randomly selected 10% physicians who have been using Doximity. Several other Doximity users have not received mails yet but will get them soon. Automated reminders would be sent to those who have not replied at the beginning.
In order to be eligible for the survey, physicians should have qualified the set of criteria put forth by US News. They do not necessarily need to be using Doximity. Physicians who were not using Doximity but were survey-eligible were all listed down for the survey and were sent samples and surveys via mail in the beginning of January. The physicians who are eligible would receive the information for the survey through mail or an email. Hospital administrators need to explain the physicians the procedure of the survey.
Some generally asked queries are as follows:
Is it necessary for the doctors to be Doximity users?
Not at all, each year US News would send invitations to doctors on a random basis who are not on Doximity which is a platform for medical networking.
In order to be eligible, should a doctor have the degree of M.D?
No. Board certification decides who all are eligible to be surveyed. Those physicians would be eligible who have one or more eligibility granting certificates given by ABMS affiliated boards of medical health.
Where will the survey take place?
For those who use Doximity, it would be online and for those who do not would be surveyed through electronic means.
Why have the dates not been specified in mails?
This is because several doctors would receive the survey forms on different dates and for each one of them the deadlines would be different as well.
